The Asiatic Society for Social Science Research is an autonomous research body amended as Body of Individuals under the Memorandum of Association constituted on September 02, 2019 vide Certificate No. IN-DL94355617122143S dated 17-Oct-2020 03:58 PM. As per the New Ordinance 4.0 vide F. No. 2–40/2023–24 dated 01.09.2023 that the Body, which was initially registered as a Body of Individuals (Memorandum of Association signed on SEPTEMBER 02, 2019, vide Certificate No. IN-DL94355617122143S dated 17-Oct-2020 03:58 PM and subsequent revision in the Memorandum of Associate vide Certificate No. IN-DL69792009462516U dated 04-Aug-2022 10:26 AM will be reconstituted under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Body / Society will retain to continue its functions, aims and objectives and registration with the existing NITI Aayog Unique ID Number DL/2021/0287154.
